The Royal Trek

Gets its name from the time Prince Charles and an entourage of 90 guests, camp followers and staff trekked this route.

Jomsom Trek

Excellent. It has some of the best trekking hotels in Nepal.

Highlights

A classic lodge trek.
This is also a major trade and trekking route, so you have frequent facilities all along.
Starts with a long climb to Ghorapani and then descends into the world's deepest gorge.
Crosses to the other side of the main Himalayan Range.
While on this trek, you can also make excursions to either the 1950 French Annapurna base camp or the base camp for Dhaulagiri.

Day 2 Tikedhunga to Ghorapani
Day 3 Ghorapani to Tatopani
Day 4 Tatopani to Kalopani
Day 5 Kalopani to Marpha

Note: Muktinath is an important pilgrimage place for both, the Hindus and the Buddhists
