Vegetation
Basically grasslands with oak and coniferous forests. Chir
pine, spruce, fir, maple, birch, alder and rhododendron are
the common species here. You can also see dense nigalo bamboo
groves and a wide variety of medicinal herbs.
Wildlife
Leopards, Himalayan yellow throated marten, Himalayan black
bear, musk deer, ghoral and Himalayan tahr.
Birds
Danphe, kalij and monal pheasants, chukor partridge, red
and yellow-billed blue magpie and Himalayan griffin.
