built Birendra International Convention Centre (BICC). The
main hall can accommodate 1,046 persons with 160 desk seats
in the front, 240 theatre seats in the back, 150 observer
seats and the rest being allocated for gallery seating. The
BICC also contains other conference halls in addition to which
there is an exhibition hall, a separate station for newspersons
with facilities for live TV and radio broadcast. There are
even VIP rooms equipped with comprehensive media operations.
Other conference venues include the Royal Nepal Academy with
a capacity for 1,250 people, Rashtriya Sabha Griha which seats
676 people, the Russian Cultural Centre which seats 120 people
and the Bhrikuti Mandap Exhibition Hall with an area of 35,000

Everest, Radisson, Yak and Yeti amongst others in Kathmandu
that offer 5 star convention facilities. While their counterparts
